Ada sesuatu yang istimewa dari warung-warung kecil di pinggir jalan yang selalu mampu memukau lidah. Salah satunya adalah warung mie ayam solo tunggal yang saya temui di Kota Batu tempat yang benar-benar "nyempil" tapi bikin ngiler tiap kali mau cari makan yang enak, murah, dan bikin kenyang.
Tempatnya mudah dijangkau, dengan area parkir depan yang hanya cukup untuk beberapa motor. Meski sempit dan tidak luas, suasananya malah terasa akrab dan ramai, apalagi pas jam makan siang. Yang paling mengesankan, meskipun ukurannya kecil, warung ini tetap terjaga kebersihannya hal yang jarang ditemukan di warung pinggir jalan sejenis.
Mie ayamnya? Wah, mantap rasanya pas di lidah! Porsinya cukup banget bikin perut kenyang, tanpa harus khawatir kantong bolong. Harganya juga sangat terjangkau: mie ayam biasa cuma 8 ribu rupiah, sedangkan ukuran jumbo hanya 12 ribu rupiah. Nilai lebih lain adalah pelayanannya si ibu yang jaga warung itu ramah dan baik banget, bikin pengunjung merasa seperti tamu di rumah sendiri.
Meski begitu, ada satu hal yang cukup unik: saat si ibu nanya mau minum apa dan kita jawab tidak usah, ekspresinya langsung berubah. Walaupun demikian, itu tidak mengurangi kesukaan saya terhadap mie ayamnya — malah jadi cerita lucu yang selalu teringat setiap kali mau kembali ke warung ini.
Tanpa disadari, tempat ini sudah jadi "langganan" saya untuk makan siang. Meskipun sederhana, warung ini membuktikan bahwa makanan lezat tidak selalu harus ada di restoran mewah — terkadang, yang paling enak adalah yang tersembunyi di pinggir jalan, dengan rasa yang tepat dan suasana yang menyenangkan

THE HIDDEN CHICKEN NOODLE EATING EXPERIENCE BY THE SIDE OF THE ROAD
There's something special about small roadside warungs (food stalls) that always manage to delight the taste buds. One of them is a single-portion Solo-style chicken noodle warung I found in Batu City a place that's truly "tucked away" but makes you crave it every time you're looking for food that's delicious, affordable, and filling.
It's easily accessible, with a front parking area that only fits a few motorcycles. Even though it's narrow and not spacious, the atmosphere feels warm and lively, especially during lunchtime. What's most impressive is that despite its small size, the warung is kept clean something rarely found in similar roadside stalls.
The chicken noodles? Wow, the taste is just perfect on the tongue! The portion is more than enough to fill you up, without having to worry about an empty wallet. The price is also very affordable: regular chicken noodles are only IDR 8,000, while the jumbo size is just IDR 12,000. Another plus is the service — the lady who runs the warung is very friendly and kind, making customers feel like guests in their own home.
That said, there's one quite unique thing: when the lady asks if you want a drink and you say no, her expression changes right away. Even so, that doesn't reduce my fondness for the chicken noodles it even becomes a funny story I always remember every time I want to go back to this warung.
Without realizing it, this place has become my "regular spot" for lunch. Even though it's simple, this warung proves that delicious food doesn't always have to be in a fancy restaurant sometimes, the most tasty ones are the ones hidden by the side of the road, with the right taste and a pleasant atmosphere.
