Meskipun puncak terlihat dekat, perjalanan menuju puncak membutuhkan waktu sekitar 7 jam pendakian. Untuk mencapai Wukir Negoro, Anda dapat menggunakan sepeda motor, tetapi perlu diingat bahwa kondisi jalan cukup menantang dengan batuan lepas dan lumpur licin. Jarak dari Basecamp Sirah Kemcong ke Wukir Negoro adalah sekitar 4.26 km, sementara dari Wukir Negoro ke titik awal pendakian hanya sekitar 1.8 km.
Area di sekitar Wukir Negoro cukup untuk mendirikan sekitar 4 tenda di tengah hutan belantara. Namun, perlu diperhatikan bahwa selama musim hujan, banyak pacet (lintah) yang berkeliaran.
Dari Wukir Negoro menuju Pos 1, trek akan melewati hutan yang rimbun. Tanjakan di jalur ini tidak terlalu terjal, sehingga pendakian relatif lebih mudah. Waktu tempuh dari Wukir Negoro ke Pos 1 berkisar antara 50 menit hingga 1 jam.
Setelah melewati Pos 1, perjalanan dilanjutkan menuju Pos 2. Trek dari Wukir Negoro ke Pos 1 berupa hutan yang rimbun dengan tanjakan yang tidak terlalu terjal, memakan waktu sekitar 50 menit hingga 1 jam.
Selanjutnya, dari Pos 2 menuju Pos 3, Anda akan menghadapi tanjakan yang mulai terasa lebih terjal dan menguras tenaga. Trek di antara pos ini didominasi oleh hutan pinus yang tidak terlalu rimbun. Setelah melewati Pos 2 dan 3, perjalanan dilanjutkan menuju Pos 4. Trek dari Pos 3 ke Pos 4 akan melewati bekas aliran air yang berdebu. Tanjakan di jalur ini semakin terasa serius, menjadikannya salah satu rute terberat dalam pendakian Gunung buthak via Blitar.
Meskipun demikian, di Pos 4 masih terdapat area yang cukup untuk mendirikan tenda berukuran 5 orang. Namun, perlu diperhatikan bahwa kondisi medan cukup miring dan terdapat kayu besar di tengah area tersebut. Setelah beristirahat di Pos 4, perjalanan dilanjutkan menuju Pos 5. Trek dari Pos 4 ke Pos 5 dianggap sebagai trek terberat dalam pendakian Gunung buthak via Blitar. Perjalanan ini memakan waktu sekitar 2 jam.
Trek ini berupa aliran air yang berdebu dan rawan longsor, serta tanjakan yang sangat serius dan menguras tenaga. Di Pos 5, area untuk mendirikan tenda cukup untuk sekitar 4 buah tenda

The starting point for climbing Mount Buthak via Blitar offers a unique experience with a seemingly hidden path. After finding the "Wukir Negoro" sign, continue walking east (towards the forest) to find the actual hiking trail.
Although the summit looks close, the journey to the top takes about 7 hours of hiking. To reach Wukir Negoro, you can use a motorcycle, but keep in mind that the road conditions are quite challenging with loose rocks and slippery mud. The distance from Basecamp Sirah Kemcong to Wukir Negoro is approximately 4.26 km, while from Wukir Negoro to the starting point of the climb is only about 1.8 km.
The area around Wukir Negoro is sufficient to set up about 4 tents in the middle of the wilderness. However, it should be noted that during the rainy season, many leeches roam around.

Next, from Post 2 to Post 3, you will face slopes that begin to feel steeper and more draining. The trail between these posts is dominated by a pine forest that is not too dense. After passing Posts 2 and 3, the journey continues towards Post 4. The trail from Post 3 to Post 4 will pass through a former dusty water flow. The slopes on this path are becoming more serious, making it one of the toughest routes on Mount buthak via Blitar.
Nevertheless, at Post 4 there is still enough area to set up a 5-person tent. However, it should be noted that the terrain is quite sloping and there is a large log in the middle of the area. After resting at Post 4, the journey continues towards Post 5. The trail from Post 4 to Post 5 is considered the most difficult trail on Mount buthak via Blitar. This journey takes about 2 hours.
This trail is in the form of a dusty and landslide-prone water flow, and the inclines here are very serious and draining. At Post 5, the area for setting up tents is sufficient for about 4 tents
